Clinical Currency Statement
As at July 2021, I am engaged in the role of Associate Case Manager for Bush & Co Rehabilitation for an average of 120 hours per month. I also work as Clinical Supervisor for DGFT NHS Trust as part of the covid vaccination programme for an average of 24 hours per month.

Specific Injuries Experience
Vicky has specific experience in planning and implementing packages of complex, nurse led care for those with spinal cord and traumatic brain injury. As a Case Manager she has demonstrated a wealth of practical care planning knowledge and is competent in co-ordinating agency and directly employed care. She is also competent in commenting on associated orthopaedic and fracture injuries relating to the case in question.
Vicky also has significant experience in planning the medical and functional equipment needs of those with spinal cord and brain injuries. She has extensive experience of co-ordinating housing adaptations and is comfortable outlining these requirements.
Vicky also has significant experience in co-ordinating the care of adults and children with Cerebral Palsy or other neurological deficits.

Vicky is a highly motivated, dedicated and client-focused Case Manager and Nurse with proven strengths in: immediate needs assessments and report writing, multi-disciplinary team management and leadership, staff development, complex clinical care provision, planning and implementing complex client discharges from hospital, needs assessments, reassessments and training of qualified/unqualified staff. She also has a wealth of trouble shooting and problem-solving experience.
Vicky currently works as a Case Manager and is experienced in carrying out immediate needs assessments to plan the rehabilitation support for a wealth of clients with differing needs; including adult and paediatric brain and spinal cord injuries. She manages multi-disciplinary teams and effectively communicates with both statutory service and private sector staff. She currently manages several directly employed care support packages and is skilled at communicating with the family and professionals involved in each client’s case.
Prior to Case Management, Vicky worked as Clinical Nurse Manager for 2 private complex care providers. She was responsible for a team of clinical nurse specialists and an overall client base, many of whom required extremely complex care. She excelled in providing clinical leadership and support to a large nursing team.
In 2021, Vicky attended Bond Solon’s Courtroom Skills Training.
