Specific Injuries Experience
Lizanne has extensive community rehabilitation experience and is skilled in assessing and treating clients who have multiple injuries, including many with extensive pre-existing conditions. This includes clients with complex poly-trauma injuries (fractures, crush injuries, amputations) and long-term neurological impairment.
She has a high level of experience in handling clients who have suffered from a neurological injury, either traumatic or acquired. Lizanne has worked with these clients in the community and as a Case Manager and is comfortable co-ordinating care packages for those with impairments inhibiting their activities of daily living.
Lizanne is adept in working with clients with mild brain injuries and other associated physical impairments. Both in her roles in community care and Case Management she has developed a significant level of understanding in managing function for these clients and returning them to meaningful occupation.

Lizanne is a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience, in both private and statutory services. She currently works as an associate Catastrophic Injury Case Manager for a large case management organisation and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the medico-legal sector, both in clinical and operational posts.
She also works with a small caseload of clients as an Independent Occupational Therapist. Lizanne is passionate about enabling clients to achieve their optimum potential and functional independence, and to live fulfilled lives.
Prior to her roles in the independent sector Lizanne worked extensively in community care as part of an integrated rehabilitation service in Dorset. She held positions up to Clinical Lead/Team Manager and was an integral part in the development of the service.
